Job Summary
Lead and facilitate Lean/Six Sigma projects to optimize manufacturing processes and identify prioritized improvement opportunities across production lines. Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement methodologies while implementing and sustaining visual management systems and 5S initiatives. Mentor teams on problem-solving techniques, establish key performance indicators to measure impact, and drive a culture of operational excellence. This role requires a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with 7+ years of manufacturing experience, offering competitive compensation and alignment with West Michigan partner companies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated success in leading and implementing significant process improvement projects
- Proficient in data analysis, statistical tools, and relevant software (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
- Experience with change management methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing junior CI practitioners
- Experience working with diverse teams across multiple manufacturing sites
