Job Summary
Deploy and scale operational excellence frameworks by integrating The Maersk Way, A3 problem-solving, and Kaizen practices to elevate customer value delivery. Conduct end-to-end business diagnostics to challenge non-value-add practices and design cross-client Kaizen workshops that execute Tactical Implementation Plans with measurable KPIs. Own rigorous follow-up of action items, establish visual management systems, and track OpEx KPIs to drive accountability for safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Lead change management routines, train teams on global OpEx methodologies, and partner with area leadership to resolve systemic blockers and enable sustainable performance improvement across the IMEA team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related operational functions
- 8+ years of hands-on OpEx / Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience in complex global matrix organizations
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Ability to translate enterprise vision into local deployment plans, driving measurable business impact via structured OpEx rollouts and KPI-led performance management
- Proven track record leading change programs, influencing cross-functional stakeholders in matrix setups, and driving adoption of new processes and standards
- Skilled in designing and leading Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops and capability-building sessions for diverse audiences from frontline to senior leadership
- Strong quantitative reasoning, root-cause analysis and pragmatic problem-solving skills, able to develop creative, actionable solutions to complex operational challenges
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Confident in engaging, influencing and presenting to senior stakeholders, with strong relationship-building and facilitation skills to simplify complex narratives
- Experienced Lean/OpEx trainer with a demonstrated ability to elevate organizational Lean maturity through structured training, coaching and knowledge sharing
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, agile global environments
- Passionate about continuous learning
