Job Summary
Continuous Improvement - Intern to support operational excellence initiatives by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making to improve manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include process mapping and improvement using flowcharts, value stream maps, and swimlane charts; developing and updating standard work instructions and standard operating procedures; collaborating with domain experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with quality/compliance; collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational data and creating dashboards (Excel, Power BI) with basic statistical analysis; presenting results and recommendations; working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and business teams; participating in Kaizen events, improvement workshops, and meetings; and traveling between Canadian and U.S. sites in an on-site environment. Required qualifications include pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree (engineering, business, supply chain, or MBA), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, strong communication, exposure to Lean and Six Sigma, experience in process mapping or documentation, and basic statistics or data tools; previous internship experience is preferred.
