Job Summary
Develop and execute the EMS Division Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with business objectives through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives. Lead complex problem-solving efforts using DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve process capability. Establish standardized methodologies, tools, and governance across all manufacturing locations while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive data-driven decision making. Manage multiple improvement projects from concept through sustainment, developing dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial justifications to measure business impact. Coach leaders and employees in Lean principles and structured problem solving to build organizational capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with demonstrated success leading complex process improvement projects
- Certified Green Belt with 5+ years of hands-on experience driving Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or high-mix, low-volume contract manufacturing
- Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing systems that produce measurable business results
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Operational Excellence methodologies
- Experience developing business intelligence dashboards and performance reporting systems
- Strong understanding of ERP, MES, manufacturing analytics, and digital manufacturing technologies
- Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and project management skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong business acumen
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools
