Job Summary
Optimize manufacturing and operational processes across two sites by identifying, designing, and implementing initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and safety. Analyze manufacturing processes, measure results, and recommend sustainable solutions while developing performance indicators to track objectives. Lead Lean and process optimization projects in collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams, acting as a subject matter advisor to support change management. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Work independently with a high level of responsibility to harmonize work methods and promote operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Member of the Ordre Eng. Quebec
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing continuous improvement and process optimization projects
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving principles
- Influential leadership and the ability to engage teams
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Project management and change management skills
- Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Results-oriented and focused on continuous improvement
- 37.5 hours on site
Desired Qualifications
- Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt certification considered an asset
