Job Summary
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives across airline catering operations to identify inefficiencies, optimize workflows, and drive cost-saving measures. Analyze production, logistics, and delivery processes to implement root cause analyses and establish key performance indicators for operational excellence. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to manage improvement projects from planning through results measurement while training staff on continuous improvement methodologies. Travel to all US units to ensure initiatives support food safety and HACCP compliance. Requires Black Belt certification, seven years of experience in high-volume environments, and ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing, food production, aviation, or other high-volume operational environments
- Strong analytical, project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience driving measurable business results through process improvement initiatives
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, and time-sensitive operational environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and operational reporting tools
- Airport security clearance process completion
- Meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements
- Obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent)
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
