Job Summary
Support and drive continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing and operations by identifying process inefficiencies through data analysis, observation, and team feedback. Coordinate initiatives aligned with business goals, facilitate Kaizen events and problem-solving sessions, and assist in developing, documenting, and standardizing processes. Collect, analyze, and report key performance indicators while applying Lean, Six Sigma, and CI tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, and visual management. Conduct root cause analysis using methods like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA, and Pareto analysis to ensure follow-through and sustainability of improvement actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance to promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate degree
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, or continuous improvement
- Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collect and interpret data to drive decisions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams without direct authority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Experience facilitating Kaizen or improvement events
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems, ERP/MES, or KPI dashboards
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
