Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Job Summary

Drive and support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, planning, and executing process improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams. Lead Kaizen events, develop education materials to train staff on Lean methodologies, and provide hands-on coaching on tools like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis. Work with all facilities to quantify improvement opportunities, monitor key metrics, and share best practices to deliver measurable results. Collaborate on process flow activities, mentor others, and build organizational trust through direct engagement and problem-solving. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of lean process experience, and may involve 10-25% travel. Schedule is Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, with potential overtime and on-call availability.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years working in a lean process
  • 10-25% travel based on company need
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and train others on process improvement concepts
  • Must be available for work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Must be available for overtime
  • Must be available for work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
  • Must pass a background and drug test
  • Must be eligible for E-Verify

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and principles including 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Kaizen, A3, Root Cause Analysis and Mistake Proofing
  • Experience developing and promoting a Continuous Improvement culture
  • Experience identifying and quantifying potential opportunities for improvement
  • Experience sharing best practices and lessons learned
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events
  • Experience developing education materials to train organizations in Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experience providing coaching through hands-on facilitation and demonstration of Lean tools
  • Experience monitoring and measuring progress of process improvement initiatives
  • Experience tracking key metrics and reporting on effectiveness of implemented improvements
  • Experience building trust through direct engagement, problem solving, and building relationships
  • Experience facilitating Process Flow and Process Mapping activities
  • Experience acting as a mentor to train
