Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Job Summary
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, planning, and executing process improvements across facilities to deliver measurable results. Lead Kaizen events, develop education materials, and provide hands-on coaching to train teams in Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis. Monitor progress on improvement initiatives, track key metrics, and report effectiveness while sharing best practices and lessons learned. Build organizational trust through direct engagement, problem-solving, and relationship development. Support the CI Plan development and process flow activities to promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years working in a lean process
- 10-25% travel based on company need
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and train others on process improvement concepts
- Must be available for work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Must pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Technical expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and principles including 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Kaizen, A3, Root Cause Analysis and Mistake Proofing
- Experience developing and promoting a Continuous Improvement culture
- Experience identifying and quantifying potential opportunities for improvement
- Experience sharing best practices and lessons learned
- Experience facilitating Kaizen events
- Experience developing education materials to train organizations in Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience providing coaching through hands-on facilitation and demonstration of Lean tools
- Experience monitoring and measuring progress of process improvement initiatives
- Experience tracking key metrics
- Experience building trust within an organization through direct engagement, problem solving, and building relationships
- Experience facilitating Process Flow and Process Mapping activities
- Experience acting as a mentor to train
