Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager

Job Summary
CI Manager leads hands-on continuous improvement on the shop floor, coaching hourly and salaried teams to implement kaizens and rapid improvements, and translating site strategy into an active pipeline of cross-functional CI projects. The role uses One Watts Performance System tools and routines (daily management, standard work, visual management, tiered accountability) to sustain improvements, drive measurable business impact, and govern CI governance through a cross-functional steering committee. The position requires on-site presence at the Franklin, NH facility, travel up to 25%, and a strong foundation in practical Lean methods (VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM, problem-solving) with the ability to train and develop teams and translate CI work into financial/operational results.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in manufacturing/operations with hands-on CI delivery
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Business, or related) or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead and coach floor teams
- Proven results improving productivity (SQDC)
- Strong practical Lean methods experience (VSM, daily management, standard work, visual management, 5S, SMED, TPM, material flow/layout)
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint/Word
Desired Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma training or Black Belt preferred
- Experience leading floor-based continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong facilitations and coaching skills
- Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint/Word
- Experience with OWPS or similar operations systems is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing/operations with measurable financial impact
