Job Summary
Operates and monitors the extrusion process, inspecting and adjusting machinery to produce ceramic dried formed products. Performs GHCM touch-pad set-up, batch checks, and records settings on the production log; conducts power-up/start-up per work instructions; monitors product temperature with a digital thermometer; collects samples and measures material stability; cleans machine components and maintains the extrusion area; enters process data into information systems; updates the extrusion data board and die travel ticket tooling; moves contaminated material to confinement; performs change-over procedures; records die adjustments; adheres to safety, EMS, and 5S practices; participates in preventive maintenance and related activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent
- CRC Bronze or above
