Job Summary
Join an interdisciplinary team providing care in long-term care or home care across Nova Scotia. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), light housekeeping, meals and between-meal refreshments, respite for families, documentation (reports, progress notes, incident reports), and engaging residents in leisure and recreational activities. Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification is required; related education/experience with eligibility for CCA RPL Program is accepted. Students in nursing, CCA programs, and internationally educated nurses will be considered. Required Qualifications
- Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification
- Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program
- Students in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses will be considered.
