Job Summary
Continuing Care Assistants provide personal care activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming), assist with meals and between-meal refreshments, perform light housekeeping, provide respite for families and caregivers, document client concerns and progress, and engage residents in leisure and recreational programs. Requires Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification; candidates enrolled in or eligible for the CCA RPL Program or nursing/CCA programs, including international educated nurses, will be considered. Opportunities across Nova Scotia's Central Zone with CCAs or CCAs in Training; diverse and inclusive workplace with competitive compensation and benefits; salary depends on employer and CCA status.
Required Qualifications
- Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification
- Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program
- Students in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses will be considered
