Job Summary
Behavioral Health Respite Treatment Advocates work with adolescents, youth, and children, as well as families and community partners, to provide advocacy and support through behavior health and respite care for individuals with mental and behavioral health diagnoses in home, community and office settings. Responsibilities include developing youth treatment/service plans in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties, building trusting relationships with clients, providing oversight and 1-on-1 activities per treatment plans, documenting conversations for billing, identifying community resources, and transporting clients to activities as needed. Requires willingness to travel, flexible scheduling (including after-school hours, evenings and weekends), reliable communication tools, and valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor’s Program; Preferred, GED or High School Diploma; Required.
- Experience in child welfare; Preferred.
