Job Summary
Pack, protect, and transport customer belongings using proper wrapping and handling for fragile, sentimental, or high-value items during fire, water, and other loss events. Catalog items in Contents Track with descriptions, brand, and condition details; organize and maintain the contents vault through shelving layout and box placement. Clean and process affected items such as smoke, soot, and water damage before storing them, while tracking boxes and items in and out of vault storage with accurate check-in and check-out records. Maintain precise contents records to support the insurance claims process and communicate item condition and job progress to project leads and office staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Attention to detail, especially when handling and documenting large volumes of items
- Strong organizational skills & the ability to keep track of items across multiple jobs
- Comfortable working in customer properties during high-stress/emotional situations
- Technology and software comfort
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in contents handling, restoration, moving, logistics, or warehouse inventory
- Familiarity with Contents Track, Xactimate, or similar restoration/contents software
- Prior leadership, team-lead, or supervisory experience in any industry
