Job Summary
As a Contents Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for disaster recovery services, overseeing pack-outs, cleaning, digital inventory, and storage of contents while ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to industry standards. You’ll supervise contents technicians to meet IICRC standards, coordinate with internal teams, customers, insurance adjusters, and QA, and prepare carrier-guided estimates for pack-outs, content cleaning, pack-backs, and restoration. The role emphasizes empathetic, urgent, and professional communication, with opportunities to advance in a family-owned restoration setting and contribute to meaningful, community-facing outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Contents Manager or Contents Lead in restoration
- Strong knowledge of pack-out procedures, inventory tracking, and claims documentation
- Experience with Xactimate software (a plus)
- Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime when needed
