Job Summary
Curriculum Translators are sought to translate secondary educational content from English to Spanish, requiring deep expertise in education content areas of math and science. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields, ATA Certification, and 3-5 years of experience in curriculum, technical, or grant writing. Proficiency in bi-lingual communication, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills are essential. This project-based position requires collaboration within a diverse and dispersed team, with commitment to producing high-quality educational content.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Spanish Language, Secondary Education (science/math), STEM-related discipline and/or Teacher certification
- ATA Certification
- 3-5 years of experience in curriculum writing, technical writing or grant writing in Spanish & English
- Strong command of subject area(s) of math and science at the secondary level
- Careful attention to detail, with effective time management skills
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills with excellent research skills and internet skills
- Self motivated and disciplined, with a positive and high-energy attitude
- Willingness to receive and provide critique and revision feedback
- Proficient knowledge of information-sharing platforms (Google, Sharepoint, Edmodo, etc.)
