Job Summary
Lead and direct content strategy across the full web development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, well-organized content aligned with client business objectives and user needs. Define and implement editorial direction, governance, taxonomy, metadata frameworks, and content workflows; collaborate with creative, UX, and client teams to develop SEO strategies, site navigation, and content migration plans; produce deliverables such as audits, taxonomies, style guides, and content mapping; articulate the value of content strategy to clients and guide teams in applying best practices across digital experiences. Strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills are essential, with a deep understanding of digital trends, usability, and content marketing.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead content strategy across the entire web development process
- A degree or diploma in library science, journalism, communications, English or a related field
- 6-10 years of Marketing/Communications experience in a Web-focused company or agency
- Understanding of content management systems and strategies
- Experience in developing SEO strategies
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex or demanding subject matter
