Job Summary
Write and edit content for program web pages, brochures, email campaigns, and social media. Adapt messaging for undergraduate, graduate, and adult audiences while maintaining accuracy across all materials. Optimize web content for search and engagement, then develop student stories and repurpose high-performing pieces across channels. Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic partners to execute project requests and support the Student Content Network by recruiting, onboarding, and guiding student contributors. Manage day-to-day execution of student-generated content collection and repurposing. Periodic business travel to Winona is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in content writing for digital and print
- Website content production experience
- Experience using analytical tools like G4 to inform content performance
- Strong writing and editing skills across formats (short- and long-form)
- Experience with SEO and digital content optimization
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messaging
- Strong collaboration and project management skills
- Periodic business travel to Winona
- Support, respect, and advance the mission of Saint Mary's University as a Lasallian Catholic institution
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
