Job Summary
Content Partner Manager responsible for executing requirements in partner agreements and technical specifications, building and maintaining partnerships with content providers, and ensuring successful launch and in-app experience of partner content on Disney's streaming products. Will drive content launch plans, manage short- and long-term projects, and collaborate with technology, operations, product, and business teams to facilitate conversations, deliverables, and governance. Will handle contract details, program avails, rights, brand elements, and localization in the Content Management System, maintain visibility across the program, identify and mitigate risks, and work with Marketing on promotional opportunities around major events and series launches. Requires translating complex concepts between technology and business partners, and prior experience with agile, cross-functional environments and tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Airtable, Smartsheet). Preferred background in streaming, broadcast, or digital media distribution operations and familiarity with streaming standards and content rights.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience building and nurturing external partnerships, establishing deliverables pipelines, and maintaining strong communication between partners
- Ability to translate complex concepts between technology and business partners and effectively communicate status updates to senior leadership
- Demonstrated excellence in an agile, fast-paced and cross-functional technology environment
- Working experience with tech platforms such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Airtable, Smartsheet, content management systems and proficiency in productivity suites like Office and Google Docs
- Experience working within development and product methodologies, such as Agile, PMP, etc.
