Content Marketing Specialist (Term)

Job Summary
Create strategic marketing content including blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and email newsletters to drive traffic and brand awareness. Manage paid media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter while executing a yearly social media strategy. Build and grow online communities by developing influencer initiatives and monitoring industry conversations. Develop written and graphic content for Mailchimp campaigns targeting the public, owners, dealers, and employees. Stay current with digital tools and best practices to identify new engagement opportunities and support marketing goals. This term role is based in Winkler, MB, with remote options available.
Required Qualifications

- 5+ years experience working in a content based position
- Degree/diploma in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Business or equivalent
- Past experience producing content for the web and social media with a strong portfolio
- Experience in the digital communication space with extensive knowledge of social media platforms and demonstrated digital strategic planning skills
- Graphic design skills including working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other current technologies used for creative work
- Working knowledge of online paid media channels including Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising
- Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords and various social media analytics platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Keen eye for clean design and visual layout
- Independent and well organized with strong project management skills and ability to multitask
- Outgoing personality with a passion for people and developing communities
- Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and make decisions under pressure
- The position is a term role based out of our office in Winkler, MB
