Job Summary
Manage and mentor 2–3 junior Communications team members while leading the shaping and execution of the Firm's editorial awards program, including drafting submissions, managing deadlines, and coordinating approvals. Write, edit, and publish multi-channel content in collaboration with lawyers and internal teams, covering client wins, events, firm news, and press coverage across digital and print channels. Oversee the review and approval process to ensure accuracy, style consistency, and timely delivery, while partnering with Creative Services to integrate materials into designed campaigns. Maintain and distribute the editorial calendar, plan webinar and podcast initiatives, and track publications and communications activities. Work 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET with potential overtime for practice area needs.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and research skills (writing/editing test required)
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible language
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and client-focused, with strong collaboration skills across teams, offices and time zones
- Experience managing junior team members and working effectively with senior stakeholders
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in standard business tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe) and willingness to learn new platforms, such as Dealcloud
- A commitment to the highest standards of excellence and professionalism that are the hallmarks of the legal practice
- A minimum of five years of work experience in a law firm, a professional services environment, credible news organization, or comparable position in a corporation
- BA or equivalent

- Experience as a lawyer, paralegal, business/legal reporter, editor, writing tutor or self-proclaimed grammar geek
