Job Summary
Content Licensing Specialist role focused on acquiring and maintaining market data/content for Dow Jones Consumer and Professional Information products (e.g., WSJ, Barron’s, MarketWatch, IBD). Build and maintain relationships with global market data providers, negotiate license agreements, and manage vendor governance, billing, and data inventory. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams on market data needs, budgeting/forecasting, and strategy for vendor partnerships. Oversees a portfolio of ~60 vendors, ensures timely procurement and validation of licenses, and supports audits and contract negotiations to align with Dow Jones product offerings and services. Requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive, detail‐oriented approach; bachelor’s degree preferred and English fluency essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in building internal/external business relationships
- Fluency in English essential
- Strong relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Understanding of internet and intranet applications, emerging and web technologies
- Experience in managing projects according to deadlines
- Commercial awareness of contractual obligations
- Knowledge of market data vendors and licensing processes
