Job Summary
Content Lead for Middle School Math responsible for district-level leadership and support in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Designs, presents, and facilitates adult learning experiences; collaborates with district curriculum support and content colleagues; supports implementation and alignment of district curriculum and assessments; serves as a communications liaison between district curriculum support and content colleagues. Focus areas and leadership responsibilities will be determined by district and building needs and data, and include leading professional learning for teachers and instructional coaches, promoting equity principles and culturally responsive pedagogy, and fostering collaboration with Curriculum Coordinators, Program Leads, District Coaches, and Administrators.
Required Qualifications
- Standard Teaching License
- three years of teaching experience in content area
- experience designing and conducting professional learning for adults preferred
