Job Summary
Review, edit, and fact-check high-quality medical content for articles, blog posts, social media, and promotional materials to ensure accuracy, appropriate tone, and compliance with regulatory requirements and brand guidelines. Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to guide content development, provide constructive feedback, and optimize deliverables for search engines and digital marketing best practices. Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines across various therapeutic areas, monitoring workload, anticipating capacity issues, and proactively proposing solutions. Ensure all resources are deployed efficiently and in accordance with business needs while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years' experience in a similar role
- full (native-level) English proficiency
- excellent attention to detail
- consistency and clarity
- strong passion for writing, language, and (ideally) pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences topics
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, life sciences, or a related discipline
- proven experience editing and proofreading for accuracy, consistency, brand adherence, and familiarity with medical terminology, scientific research, and healthcare/pharma regulatory guidelines
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics (content creation, SEO, social media, and email marketing)
- proficiency or interest in CMS and digital marketing tools
- standard IT applications (preferably Google Workspace)
