Job Summary
Edit and maintain website content, product documentation, newsletters, and customer communications while writing original technical and product documentation, including release notes and help content. Coordinate with marketing and engineering to preserve technical accuracy and uphold editorial standards for grammar, style, and branding across all published materials. Split time evenly between polishing existing content and producing new materials. Own editorial quality at an established, 35+ year old company to build content standards from scratch as the second hire in a growing function, working cross-functionally rather than in a silo.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of dedicated editing, writing, or technical documentation experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong independent research and systematic problem-solving ability
- Comfort splitting time between editing (about half) and original writing (about half)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CMS platforms, or HR/compensation subject matter is a plus
