Job Summary
Content Development Specialist at Stoel Rives, responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining key firm content and experience narratives; partners with attorneys and stakeholders to ensure materials are clear, current, and aligned to firm priorities; owns governance of client-facing content across websites, directories, and pitches/RFPs; supports thought leadership by identifying timely topics, enabling attorney authorship, and implementing scalable content creation through structured processes and AI-assisted workflows; requires strong writer/editor capabilities, ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives, and excellent organizational and collaboration skills;Hybrid role with multiple offices (Portland, Seattle, Sacramento) and remote-work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- minimum of three years’ experience with an emphasis on communications and writing
- Professional writing/editing ability
- strong editing and content structuring ability
- experience with content governance and editorial standards
- ability to distill complex information into clear narratives
- experience with SEO/GEO best practices
- ability to work with cross-functional teams (BD, Marketing Operations, Attorneys)
- capacity to manage multiple content workflows in a fast-paced environment
- comfort with AI-assisted tools for content development
