Job Summary
Create and capture photo, video, and social content featuring athletes, events, and brand initiatives by traveling locally to practices, appearances, and activations. Produce short-form content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels while assisting with filming, editing, and publishing aligned with brand voice. Identify compelling storylines and behind-the-scenes moments, coordinate content schedules, and maintain organized media libraries. Monitor content performance and provide recommendations for future opportunities while staying current with social media trends and emerging formats. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to support campaigns. This internship supports our overall digital media strategy by bringing athletes and brand to life through authentic, on-the-ground storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating content for social platforms, either professionally or personally
- Strong understanding of athlete branding, sports culture, and social media trends
- Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings or weekends when events occur
- Ability to travel locally and work independently when capturing content
Desired Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Journalism, Media Production, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, or similar platforms
- Strong storyteller with a creative eye for content opportunities
- Self-motivated and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Passion for sports, athlete branding, and digital media
- Comfortable interacting with athletes, clients, and partners in professional settings
- Candidates located in or near athlete/client markets preferred to support local content capture and authentic storytelling opportunities
