Job Summary
Capture engaging vertical photo and video content before, during, and after games. Create optimized social media posts for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X. Assist with fan experiences including the Benchwarmer Experience and Locker Room Tours. Brainstorm creative ideas to increase fan engagement and showcase the Rail Yard Dawgs brand. Support game-day operations such as giveaways and promo teams. This unpaid internship runs from October 16, 2026, through the 2026-2027 season and requires attendance at a minimum of 20 home games, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field
- Proficiency with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and digital content creation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, live event environment
- Positive, professional attitude and team-first mentality
- Available for a minimum of 20 home games, including evenings and weekends
- Are you able to attend a minimum of 20 home games
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hockey is a plus, but not required
- Experience creating short-form, vertical content for social media
- Have experience covering live sports or events
