Content Automation Engineer (d/f/m)

Job Summary
Content Automation Engineer responsible for building systems, automations, and workflows that scale content operations across three markets (Germany, Spain, UK) including CRO/ASO experiments, no-code automation, and cross-market content templates. You will design and run structured experiments (A/B, multivariate, multi-armed bandits), drive content personalisation for key user segments (e.g., tax classes, employment types, filing interests), collaborate with an ASO agency, automate structured content generation beyond FAQs (HowTo, Article, TaxCalculator, Breadcrumb, Q&A schema), and create translation automation pipelines across DE, EN, and ES. You’ll work with no-code/low-code tools (n8n, Make) and AI tools (Claude, Langdock, Antigravity), define scalable content templates, manage dashboards for content performance, and ensure quality/consistency across markets. Strong emphasis on experimentation rigour, AI-enabled content operations, and cross-market scalability, with English proficiency required and German/Spanish a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in content operations, growth marketing, or a similar role at a digital product company
- Hands-on proficiency with automation platforms: n8n, Make, or similar
- Strong working knowledge of AI tools and how to use them productively: Claude, AI agents, MCPs, custom skills
- Experience designing and running structured experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, multi-armed bandits) with proper statistical rigor
- Understanding of ASO and/or CRO fundamentals
- Understanding of structured data formats (JSON-LD, schema.org markup) and how search engines and LLMs consume content
- Experience with or strong interest in content personalisation across user segments
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (ideally headless/composable like Uniform) and SEO tooling (Ahrefs, Search Console)
- High ownership mindset - you drive problems to resolution without waiting to be directed
- Full professional proficiency in English; German and/or Spanish are a bonus but not required
