Job Summary
Content Associate on the Animal Care content team will help power the creation, optimization, and distribution of high-quality health care content for dvm360. You’ll blend hands-on production with growing fluency in AI and multimedia storytelling, supporting content producers and strategic leads to ensure content is accurate, timely, and engaging across platforms. Responsibilities include AI-powered content creation, editing/tagging/formatting across CMS and video hosting, cutting/captioning/resizing clips for web and social distribution, drafting social captions and newsletters, monitoring news feeds for opportunities, and performing quality control on AI outputs. The role requires familiarity with digital content workflows, a creative writing/visual production eye, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1–2 years of relevant experience and a willingness to learn about health care and medical publishing. Compensation range is $50,000–$70,000 annually, with eligibility for bonus/incentive programs. Benefits include hybrid work schedule and comprehensive health, retirement, and other perks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in digital publishing, media production, or content operations
- Familiarity with animal care, health care, science, medical writing, or professional publishing is a plus
- Proficient in AI content tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) and CMS publishing platforms
- Working knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Vizard, CapCut)
- Strong writing, grammar, and content editing skills (AMA style a plus)
- Basic understanding of SEO, AEO, metadata, and content analytics
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Passion for storytelling and continuous learning in health care and media innovation
