Job Summary
Teach Contemporary Ethics, Environmental Ethics, and Political Philosophy courses twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00–3:45 pm, 6:00–7:45 pm, and 12:00–2:45 pm respectively. Guide students in identifying value assumptions, constructing reasoned arguments, and critically assessing systems of reasoning regarding issues such as abortion, euthanasia, affirmative action, and ecological obligations. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that engages diverse backgrounds and perspectives while supporting the liberal arts requirements and Philosophy Minor. Submit a cover letter, CV, and teaching evaluations; a Ph.D. is strongly preferred. Applications are reviewed until positions are filled.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
