Job Summary
Lead dynamic, hands-on weekly art classes for students in Grades K-12 across painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed media. Encourage experimentation and creative risk-taking while creating engaging "WOW moments" that build student confidence. Connect thoughtfully with families about student growth and creative breakthroughs. Schedule includes weekday afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Requires a practicing artist with at least one year of teaching experience and a BFA or BS in Art Education.
Required Qualifications
- A practicing or highly engaged artist
- at least 1 year of teaching experience
- Confident working across multiple mediums
- Energized by working with children and nurturing their creative confidence
- Warm, engaging, and student-centered
- A thoughtful communicator who values relationships with families and colleagues
