Job Summary
Repair, paint, and maintain containers and roll-off boxes by welding steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC methods. Fabricate steel parts for hoppers and compactors with a brake and shear, cut materials via plasma cutter or torch, and install lids and wheels. Paint repaired units and apply company safety decals per standard diagrams while following all safety policies. Refer complex repairs to the supervisor and complete required paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- Certified welder
- Advanced knowledge of mig & stick welders
- Advanced knowledge of plasma cutter
- Advanced knowledge of airless paint sprayers
- Familiar with basic use of hand tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement
- Minimum of 1 year welding experience
- Completion of a welding program
