Container Shop Welder

Job Summary
Container Shop Welder responsible for repairing, painting, and maintaining containers and roll-off boxes. Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment; fabricate steel components with brake and shear; cut steel with plasma cutter or torch; fabricate components for hoppers, containers, and compactors; install lids and wheels; paint repaired containers; adhere to safety policies; complete required paperwork; assist with decals installation on containers and roll-off boxes. Communicates effectively and follows directions with minimal supervision. Refer more complex repairs to Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Certified welder
- Minimum of 1 year welding experience OR completion of a welding program
- Advanced knowledge of MIG & stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers
