Job Summary
Fabricate components and perform structural welds on dry shipping containers using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Replace or repair wooden floors and operate forklifts while fixing mechanical components. Requires proven MIG, TIG, and Stick welding skills along with experience in iron-works, brake presses, and hydraulic sheet metal shears. Candidates must also possess relevant power tool proficiency, some carpentry experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card. This role is based in Riviera Beach, FL, for a transportation and logistics company.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Proven ability to MIG, TIG, and Stick weld
- Experience using fabrication equipment (iron-works, brake presses, hydraulic sheet metal shears, etc.)
- Experience with relevant power tools (saws, riveters, hydraulic rams, etc.)
- High School Diploma
- Valid DL
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
Desired Qualifications
- Some carpentry experience preferred
