Job Summary
Inspect containers to determine necessary repairs, operate the MTEeater-pallet tilter, and retrieve parts from cages or shelves. Perform required repairs including hammering, grinding, drilling, and welding in the shop. Transport containers to final inspection and retrieve items from workstations. Execute other duties as assigned by the supervisor. First shift hours run from 5am to 1:30pm. Candidates must have at least one year of maintenance or mechanical repair experience and pass a drug screening and background check with no felony convictions. Starting pay rate is $23.78.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of tenure with previous employers
- successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana and nicotine
- background check with no felony convictions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- minimum of one year of maintenance or mechanical repair experience
- Maintenance/mechanical experience 1 year
- Experience using various tools, pneumatic, hydraulic repairs 1 year
- Ability to follow instruction from supervisor
