Container Cargo Claims Coordinator

Manage cargo claims from start to finish by handling data entry, document management, and opening claims in the internal system. Collect and review documentation to support defense or settlement, then coordinate recovery efforts with third parties such as vessel owners, rail companies, and trucking firms. Negotiate claim settlements and process payments with the Accounting Department while assisting headquarters with resolution requests. Keep management updated on key issues and maintain accurate, organized records. Work under general supervision to support the Claims Department with other duties as needed.
