Contact Center Member Service Specialist (Location: Suwanee, GA)

Job Summary
Provide high-quality member services over the phone in a dynamic credit union call center. Responsibilities include performing member transactions (fund transfers, Internet Banking PIN resets, account openings, and other deposits/withdrawals), effectively identifying member needs, and offering appropriate products and services (loans, credit products, investment and real estate services) to deepen relationships. Must acquire extensive product knowledge, adhere to VyStar Excellence standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professional telephone etiquette. Role requires ability to adapt to changing processes, complete required computer-based training, and support department goals with accuracy and timely problem resolution. Previous call center experience in financial services and familiarity with regulatory requirements (Reg CC, D, B, Z; BSA/AML) are preferred; training and advancement opportunities are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year direct member/customer contact experience in financial institutions (call center preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication; telephone etiquette
- Ability to learn and apply product knowledge (deposit, loan, and investment services)
- Ability to review credit-related information and apply regulatory knowledge (Regulation CC, D, B, Z; BSA/AML)
- Ability to perform data entry and handle multiple tasks
- Sales experience in financial environment preferred
- Willingness to complete assessments ( HireVue ) and training programs
