Contact Center - Customer Service Representative (Bilingual - Spanish Required)

Job Summary
Respond to member inquiries regarding ATM, iBranch, debit/credit cards, payroll, ACH, wires, rates, Mobile Banking, uMonitor, Bill Pay, Pop Money, and CPI premiums. Accurately complete routine financial transactions including transfers, loan payments, address changes, check orders, wire transfers, and account maintenance. Identify member needs to recommend credit union products and services, such as opening deposit accounts. Correspond professionally with members via phone, email, and fax while balancing daily transactions and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. Fluently communicate in both English and Spanish to serve a diverse membership base. Requires at least one year of experience in a call center or teller role, high school diploma, and availability for closing and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a call center, teller role, or related financial institution position with proven sales and service performance
- A sincere desire to serve members primarily through phone and email communication
- Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential information and learn quickly
- Patience and a positive attitude when handling irate members or stressful situations
- Must be available for closing shifts and weekend shifts, as needed
- Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to assist members in Spanish across phone, chat, and/or written communication
