Job Summary
Answer and route incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct callers to appropriate departments in a team-based healthcare environment. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of general office or call center experience. Bilingual (English-Spanish) is preferred. Responsibilities include managing multi-line phones, assessing emergencies, and maintaining clear communication with patients, families, and internal teams while supporting Salud’s mission and patient self-management. Competitive starting wage of $19.50-$22.50 per hour, standard Monday–Friday schedule, and comprehensive benefits package. Training through Salud Career Ladders is required within an indicated timeframe.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of general office and/or Call Center experience
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred but not required
- Ability to determine emergency situations and take appropriate action
- Knowledge of multi-line phones
- Effective written or oral communication skills
