Contact Center Account Consultant - Part Time - 30 Hours

Job Summary
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Answer telephone inquiries in a call center regarding deposit and loan accounts, promote credit union products and services, and deliver quality service to members and co-workers. Perform transfers, withdrawals, loan payments by transfer or check; process check orders by phone; assist with payroll deductions, direct deposits, and stop payments; cross-sell products to meet department goals and member needs; maintain confidentiality and adhere to risk management policies. Participate in ongoing training (e.g., BSA, OFAC, Information Security); report policy violations; strive to exceed service quality, cross-selling, and efficiency targets; build relationships with members and peers; contribute to team and department goals; provide feedback to managers and supervisors as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional business courses preferred
- Prior experience in a busy public contact position at a credit union, financial institution, or retail setting
- Experience with computers
- Experience handling member requests and inquiries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a stressful environment; ability to handle precise details
