Consumer Outreach Specialist- Hybrid (Supporting Mohave/Coconino counties)

Job Summary
Consumer Outreach Specialist conducts outreach to current and potential members, participates in outreach events, assists in planning outreach activities, supports member retention programs, establishes and maintains community partnerships, and represents Medicaid Business Segment and BCBSAZ programs in the community. Travel is required within the State of Arizona. The role supports Level 1 and Level 2 activities, with hybrid onsite requirements within Arizona and occasional in-person engagements, events, and community presentations. Candidates should have experience in outreach/marketing, knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare guidelines, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with community partners; theFull-time schedule includes 40 hours per week with potential additional hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Required Work Experience 1 year of experience in outreach, marketing and/or community relations (Level 1)
- Required Education High School Diploma or GED in general field of study
- Required Licenses Valid Arizona Driver License, with an acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in outreach, marketing and/or community relations (Level 1)
- 5 years of experience in outreach, marketing and/or health plan (Level 2)
- 5 years of experience in AHCCCS/Medicaid, CHIP, health promotion, community outreach, social services, marketing or related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations and guidelines
- Valid Arizona Driver License
