Job Summary
Interview loan and mortgage applicants, analyze financial information, assess credit, and approve loans within discretionary limits. Verify collateral security, register documents, and initiate instruction letters for mortgage loans. Conduct daily reviews of loan inputs and overdrafts, instructing support staff on policy actions for NSF or member calls. Perform systematic follow-up on delinquent accounts to identify problems and recommend appropriate actions. Complete monthly reports for external programs, government subsidies, and internal balance accounts. Audit loan files for proper document execution and condition compliance. Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell credit union products, develop member relationships, and establish business contacts with professionals. Adhere strictly to branch operating procedures, lending policies, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education
- Graduates of CUIC Management Studies Program
- Proven track record in credit union/financial institution environment
