Job Summary
Originate new loan business by evaluating customer needs to recommend consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. Complete loan applications, proposals, and offers for new borrowers while following up with pending applicants. Assist potential borrowers by explaining the loan process and answering questions regarding products and processing. Take ownership of customer concerns and work with management to resolve issues on complex consumer loan portfolios. Process insurance claims, follow-ups, and payments daily while maintaining the insurance log. Consistently meet or exceed loan goals through daily transactions, customer inquiries, and problem resolution. Answer incoming phone calls and check voicemail. This role supports Republic Finance's mission to help customers meet personal finance goals across over 250 US communities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
- Professional demeanor
- Positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, goal-oriented, team environment
- Ability to successfully navigate priorities while paying close attention to details
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows & Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet the acceptable standards for criminal background history
- Ability to meet the acceptable standards for credit history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing
