Job Summary
Originate new loan business with existing and new customers by evaluating needs and recommending consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. Complete loan applications, proposals, and offers while following up with pending applicants and explaining the loan process to potential borrowers. Take ownership of customer concerns, resolve issues using analytical skills, and close loans by assembling folders and breaking down files. Provide excellent customer care through daily transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution while answering phone calls and checking voicemail. Process insurance claims, follow-ups, and payments daily to maintain the log. Consistently meet or exceed loan goals while servicing a complex consumer loan portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (i.e., retail sales, goal-oriented or incentive based)
- Professional demeanor
- Positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, goal-oriented, team environment
- Ability to successfully navigate priorities while paying close attention to details
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows & Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet the acceptable standards for criminal background history
- Ability to meet the acceptable standards for credit history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products
