Job Summary
Make outbound calls to develop business, follow up on opportunities, and support account relationships. Consult with customers to understand needs, identify appropriate lending options, and present loan solutions compliantly. Process loan applications, gather financial information, and educate customers on terms and services. Help customers resolve account concerns, make payment arrangements, and stay on track. Process payments, maintain accurate records, and support cash drawer responsibilities including daily deposits. This customer-facing, sales-oriented role at Mariner Finance contributes to branch growth and profitability through high-quality leads and marketing support.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a sales position
- Highly motivated individual with an interest in the consumer finance industry
- Capable of sustaining or exceeding individual sales goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to leverage and learn new sales platforms and cutting-edge technologies
- Complete functions in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain any essential licenses required by the state
- Goal-oriented, outgoing, resilient, and motivated by success
- Comfortable making outbound calls, asking questions, and listening carefully
- Capable of uncovering customer needs and presenting customer solutions
- Confident engaging warm leads, building rapport, overcoming objections, and closing sales
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Professional during challenging conversations
