Consumer Loan Coordinator

Job Summary
Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the loan granting process, from initial inquiry to final closeout. Execute front-end processing by gathering financial and legal documents, ordering reports, and preparing files for underwriting approval. Conduct quality control audits of the database, coordinate documentation for borrowers and providers, and answer routine inquiries regarding account and loan balances. Support assigned areas as a backup resource, assist with audit preparation, and distribute daily and monthly loan reports. Manage high-volume inbound leads while cultivating relationships with associations, partners, and vendors. Requires Chicago residency, hybrid schedule, and one year of sales or call-center experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, a call-center environment, retail, hospitality, or the food and beverage industry
- Must have the ability to manage time effectively due to the very high volume of in-bound leads
- Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed
- Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals within all departments of the bank
- Comfortable using a computer while communicating with customers by phone
- Favorable credit and background check
- Live in or near Chicago, IL (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using a dialer strongly preferred
