Consumer Financial Services Litigation Attorney needed in Boston, MA to join a national law firm. Responsibilities include defending national consumer financial services clients across a broad range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts; handling a diverse and challenging caseload with significant responsibilities from the start; participating in a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment with comprehensive training and professional development. Ideal candidate has 2-4 years of civil litigation experience (state and federal courts) with mortgage litigation defense experience; strong research, writing, and analytical skills; admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing (additional Bar admissions in RI, NH, or CT strongly preferred); hybrid work arrangement allowing time in-office and remotely; some in-person days at the Boston office. Salary is estimated $140,000 to $180,000, with actual offers determined by experience and internal equity.
Required Qualifications
- Must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and in good standing
- Additional admission to Rhode Island, New Hampshire, or Connecticut Bar strongly preferred
- Boston, MA office with some in-person workdays
- 2-4 years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts
- Experience in mortgage litigation defense matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Hybrid work arrangements (office and remote)
