Job Summary
Fully remote role for an Ohio-licensed attorney in the Consumer Financial Services practice, handling a broad commercial litigation caseload including foreclosures, strategy, discovery, motions, depositions, arbitrations, appeals, and trial preparation. Draft and argue motions and pleadings, perform legal research on complex disputes, represent clients in hearings and mediations, advise on risk and litigation strategy, and assist with negotiating and drafting agreements to resolve distressed loan products. Requires Ohio admission, 5+ years of commercial litigation experience (consumer financial services a plus), strong writing/research/oral advocacy, ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, and excellent negotiation/problem-solving skills. Hybrid work arrangement available between office and remote locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be admitted to the Ohio and be in good standing
- 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience in consumer financial services litigation and/or commercial litigation considered a plus
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Hybrid work arrangements offered (office and remote)
